Surplus Sales

Occasionally, the BCC will offer captive hatched surplus animals for adoption & sale to experienced turtle and tortoise keepers.

The BCC is a non-for profit, Non-Governmental Organization.

100% of the income generated from the sale of these animals will go towards in-range BCC projects to support conservation efforts for turtles and tortoises in the wild. Purchasing captive hatched animals from the BCC will not only support in range conservation initiatives, but also reduce the pressure of wild caught animals.

Our Mission

To ensure the survival of turtle and tortoise species worldwide, and to promote the conservation of chelonian habitat in the wild.

"There is no vertebrate group facing greater survival problems today. Turtles saw the great dinosaurs come and go and are now facing their own extinction crisis"
